For more than 40 years, Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AFFCF) has been changing the story of children and youth in foster care. What started out as a simple idea - that being a child should not have to hurt - has evolved into a statewide organization that today helps children and youth in foster care experience moments of joy, achieve self-sufficiency and tap into their potential.
AFFCF accomplishes this through our three key programs:
Childhood Activities: Funding sports, dance, art, music, tutoring and more
Keys to Success: Helping youth ages 16-26 build independent, stable lives through education, employment, housing and financial literacy.
Post-Secondary Education: Scholarships and support for college-bound young adults.
AFFCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID 86-0468850) and is a Qualifying Foster Care Organization (#10023). Donations made to AFFCF may be eligible for an Arizona state tax credit. To learn more, visit www.affcf.org.
AFFCF creates opportunities to build self-esteem and empower children and youth in foster care by funding services to enrich their life experiences and ensure their successful transition to adulthood.
